Lauren Evette is a seasoned communications and public relations specialist, writer, and influencer with her own style and flair. She has more than a decade of PR experience from Capitol Hill to the runway.
Lauren has provided advice and counsel to elected officials, non-profit leaders, high-level executives, and entertainment personalities and served as spokesperson for a former Interim Chair of the Democratic National Convention. Her most recent consulting client focused on increasing staff diversity in the United States Congress.
One of Lauren’s first PR jobs was planning a fashion show and PR event campaign for Ludacris’ CP Time fashion line in Atlanta, GA. (Remember that??)
While in the Peach State, she was also a publicist for Red Gorilla clothing and worked with Screen Gems – a large film company housed in Atlanta responsible for fashionable shows like Hunger Games, BET The Game, and Devious Maids.
A lover of all things fashion – and a self-proclaimed politico – Lauren’s life is truly an amalgamation of the two topics. Lauren enjoys writing, commenting on, and discussing both politics and fashion. Her writing has been published in The Afro-American Newspapers, The Washington Post, and Blavity.
